What this site is

MyLocal is a directory. It lists local businesses, what they sell and the services they provide, so that you can find and contact them. It is not a shop, it does not carry out any of the work listed here, and it is not a party to anything agreed between you and a business.

Purchases, jobs and payments

No payment is taken here, and nothing is booked here. The list you build is sent to a business of your choosing, and any sale, quotation, price, delivery, appointment or refund is agreed between you and that business directly. A dispute about an order or a job is between you and that business.

Listing information

Listings are submitted by the businesses themselves and checked before publication, but prices, stock, rates, coverage and opening hours change. Confirm anything that matters with the business before you travel or commit to a job.

Reviews

Reviews are read before they are published. We remove anything abusive, anything that identifies a private individual, and anything we can see is not a genuine account of dealing with the business.

Removing a listing

If you run a listed business you can have the listing corrected or taken down by asking us.
