Helping people find local businesses
MyLocal helps people find shops, service providers and products in their own city, and contact those businesses directly. It exists because the businesses people actually use — the grocer two streets away, the pharmacy by the junction, the electrician who will answer on a Sunday — are the hardest ones to find online.
How it works
- Search Find a service, a shop or a product in your city.
- Explore Compare local businesses by area, by category and by what they charge.
- Contact Call or message them directly. Nothing is routed through us.
Every listed business has a page showing what it sells or the services it provides, where it works, when it is open, and how to reach it.
MyLocal takes no commission and handles no payments. The list you build here is sent to the shop; everything after that is between you and them. That is deliberate — it keeps the whole thing free for the businesses listed, and it means nobody is standing between a customer and a business they could walk to.
What is here
Listings are checked
Submissions are read by hand before they appear. We check that the business is real and that the details are right — not that we approve of the work. That is what the badge on a listing means, and it is all it means.
Reviews are read before they are published, and a business's rating is the average of what has been published. We do not write reviews, and we do not remove a review for being unflattering.
